Battery Longevity Reports

I am flying 2 setups.
1. E-Evolution with Plett evo30-10 motor & Schulze ESC Flight Power EVO F3A
batteries - (2 sets)  app 35 flights on each set. A 3rd set( my first
pair) from 2007 after app 100 flights began getting warm and down on
power. No idea of IR as I didn't have a cellpro then.

2. Black Magic VF3 / Axi F3a / Jeti99 Esc True Rc 5000 batts (3 sets) app 40

flights on each set - a little over 1 year old and still good. IR as I
remember is under 2.5( don't have actual numbers).

3. for a short 8 flights I had a Pentathlon/Dualski/CCHV85 - used both
flight power & true RC batteries for those 8 flights. Good power and the
batteries stayed cool. They were even cool when I picked up the debri <g>

Thunder Power Prolite 5300

First flight April 2006.  Retired in June of 2008.  Puffed a cell in the B side due
to fault in Hacker C50.  The A side was coupled with the a side of Battery 1 and is

Thunder Power Prolite 5300

19

This is what I call Battery 1A2A.  First flown in June of 2008 and is still flying.
I find that if I heat it before flight it works fine for practicing in cool weather.

Thunder Power Prolite 5300

First flown in May of 2006.  Still flying.  Good for practice in cool weather like
battery 3 above.

True RC 5000 10C – long

102

First flight Feb. 2008 and still flying.  Tops from a cost per flight standpoint.

True RC 5000 10C – short

29

First flight July 2008.  Sent back in October and is being replaced.  One cell well
out of balance almost from the start.  Puffing on all flights when hot.

Thunder Power 5000 – 10SX V1

184

Purchased 02/07.  Continues to be my strongest battery.  Always balanced within .020
after a flight.  It's a freak!

Thunder Power 5000 – 10SX V1

102

Purchaed 06/07.  This battery was slightly damaged in 07 and should have been
disposed...but I couldn't do it!  After showing it to a few 'experts', they said fly
it.  So I put it back in service 6/08.  Seems to perform okay in flight but gets a
little warm during the charge.  Comment from TP on this:

"Thank you for the information, we believe you have a cell starting to go bad, it is
building up resistance, that is why it is getting warmer.  I would monitor this
battery closely and as long as it does not get hot or you see a performance loss, it
should still be usable."

Thunder Power 5000 – 10SX V1

111

Purchased 07/07.  No issues

Thunder Power 5000 – 10SX V2

75

TP Exchange 05/08.  No issues
