Additional data and information |
I've been slow to provide this data as I don't normally run-up the motor prior to
take off. Today I did record this data on the ground prior to take off. It is
somewhat misleading as the maximum current during the flight was 65 amps during the
humpty with full roll and the peak currents near the end of the flight were more
like 60 Amps. The rpm peaks were very close to 6000 throughout the flight. Peak
Watts were well below the motor rating of 2400.
I prefer the 12T to the 11T as it is easier on batteries. After 400 flights I am
considering changing the bearings. The motor cost per flight is near being free.
